About Truecare

The Truecare Group was established in 1994 to specialise in the care and support of adults with a learning disability or mental disorder. We also offer care and support for people with behaviours that challenge.

The Truecare Group was purchased by Choice Ltd in June 2004 and is now part of The Choice Care Group which also includes Orchard End in Gloucester.

We endeavour to create balanced households in all of our homes in terms of group dynamics and actively promote the integration of all homes - and the service users who live there - into the local community.

All homes are managed by an experienced and qualified manager, and are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). The manager is supported by an experienced deputy, together with other support staff. This ensures a high level of support for each client. All staff are closely supervised, appraised and trained for their tasks. Keyworkers are appointed for each client. The keyworker’s role is to co-ordinate care support plans, with responsibility for all aspects of their service user’s quality of life.
