Fountain View registered for 6. This spacious detached home is situated in the village of Lower Upham between Winchester and Southampton in Hampshire. Set within its own grounds of approximately 1 acre, it offers a home to six residents with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
The home has six single bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, a large lounge, dining room a large kitchen and utility area, and outside a safe and secure attractive garden.
Service users participate in separate on site day care activities as well as many community and college activities. The home has its own transport for educational, leisure and recreation trips in the community.
Philosophy
We offer a continuing care service tailored to the complex needs of the individual, enabling the service user to integrate safely within the local community therefore achieving full citizenship. A supportive and safe environment is provided for the service user to ensure they live as fulfilling a life as possible.
We support the service user to meet individual goals and aspirations with dignity, upholding the rights of the individual. Service users are supported in all aspects of personal care and within community and day care activities. Service users are encouraged to develop new skills to enhance their quality of life.
We offer when needed support and advice from our in house Psychology and Psychiatry Teams.
