Redlands House registered for 8 is a large detached home in Eastleigh, Hampshire close to the town centre and approx 5 miles away from Southampton City Centre that supports adults with severe learning disabilities and associated complex needs, currently within an age range of 20-35 yrs old.
All 8 bedrooms have full en-suite facilities with 4 on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor. The spacious downstairs layout also has a main office, separate bathroom and large kitchen. There is a large open dining room area which leads into two lounge areas (one quiet room and one T.V room). There is also a separate sensory room.
Externally to the side and rear of the home is garden space to relax and to be involved in gardening, horticultural activities that are encouraged. The home has its own transport for visits to leisure and recreation and educational activities in the community.
Philosophy
Redlands provides individuals with high levels of 24 hour staff support from a trained and experienced staff team and In-house psychology to support complex behavioural and emotional needs.
A structured day service provision with emphasis on skills development is offered with great emphasis on Community & College environments encouraged.
We offer when needed support and advice from our in house Psychology and Psychiatry teams.
