St. Andrews registered for 5 is a large detached bungalow for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs. It is located close to Fareham Town Centre (approx 1 mile away) which is easily accessible to walk, use the public transport or by our own homes vehicle.
The accommodation includes a lounge, well equipped kitchen / dining room. All 5 single bedrooms have en suite facilities affording service users greater privacy. There is also a communal toilet / bathroom and a separate shower room.
Through the lounge leading out from its patio doors, down the steps, is a lovely large terraced landscaped garden with several patio and relaxation areas with views of the surrounding countryside. There is also an adjacent summer house which offers service users another area to relax in or participate in art and craft activities. In addition we use our own transport for the leisure, recreational and educational trips in the community.
Philosophy
We offer continual 24 hour support and care service tailored to individuals with complex needs enabling the service user to interact safely within their local community therefore gaining full citizenship. Our service users have forged strong community links accessing local amenities, theatres, cinemas and colleges. A supportive and safe environment is provided to support and enable the service users to live as fulfilling a life as they wish. We support our service users with meeting their individual goals and aspirations with dignity whilst upholding their rights as individuals. All service users are encouraged to take an active role in the running of their home and are also involved with staff recruitment.
We offer when needed support and advice from our in house Psychology and Psychiatry teams.
