Woodlands is a large, six-bedroomed detached home in the semi-rural village of Bartley in the New Forest offering residential placements for females with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
The home offers individual rooms - all with en-suite facilities - a large lounge, conservatory, utility area, large kitchen and landscaped, secure gardens. The close proximity of Southampton allows easy access to the wealth of educational and leisure amenities of this vibrant town. The home has a ‘people carrier’ vehicle which is used to transport service users to their chosen activities.
Philosophy
We offer a continuing care service tailored to the complex needs of the individual enabling the resident to integrate safely within the local community therefore achieving full citizenship. A supportive and safe environment is provided for the residents to ensure they live as fulfilling a life as possible.
We support the resident to meet individual goals and aspirations with dignity upholding the rights of the individual. Residents are supported in all aspects of personal care, and within community and day care activities. Residents are encouraged to develop new skills to enhance their quality of life.
