Truecare Group in their continued expansion of residential services within Hampshire have developed a further mental health residential home for adults 18-65 in Southampton.

Fritham is a 10 bedded home within easy walking distance of the town. The home offers the individual single rooms with full en-suite facilities. Each room is designed to incorporate a kitchenette facility to enable development of key living skills.

Fritham Lodge has its own consultant psychiatry and psychology services available to all service users within the home as well as there being a close working relationship with the local CMHT, 24 hour staff support is available to maintain continuity of care promoting independence and social inclusion.

Philosophy

We offer a service tailored to the complex needs of the individual enabling the resident to integrate safely within the local community therefore achieving full citizenship. A supportive and safe environment encourages development of the individual promoting self determination and empowering the individual to take responsibility for their lives/ behaviours.

We support the resident to meet individual goals and aspirations with dignity upholding the rights of the individual. All service users are encouraged to take an active part in the running of the home, formulation of their specific care plans and risk assessments.

Residents are supported to achieve greater levels of independence, with staff working closely with the resident to encourage them to develop and practice key skills. Residents access local services for their educational / recreational needs.
